Cancun Hotel Zone a bull sharks nest?

Is not a myth, years ago locals reported sightings of shark in The Nichute Lagoon, nowadays surrounded with The Exclusive Hotel Zone of Cancun.

Members of the National Commission of Natural Protected Areas ( Conanp ) develop A Research on the genetic connectivity of the species in Cancun and Playa del Carmen.

So far it has not been possible to know the number of the population, have registered themselves in the Cancun area more females move, and Playa del Carmen , most are male.

One of the outstanding points is the definition of delivery sites , therefore receptors have been placed at the entrances of the Nichupte lagoon and English River , but so far have not detected the entry of females in past couple of years.
